Arts Producer
Lente Movil is the lens that maneuvers through life to excavate the hidden stories that form our community. This project fuses art with social activism, offering insight and open doors into new spaces throughout our city, to pave the way for impactful dialogue about themes that concern and affect us all.
Our events in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 have been grounded in the experiences of Latino people living in the Pacific Northwest. A multi-media
art experience that demonstrates the critical role that the arts can play in
advancing social justice and bringing the invisible to light.

Radio Host
After seven years of having participated in KBOO 90.7 FM as the host and producer of the program FA radio (FusionArte). The show brought people together to share their voices, projects, and ideas. As a cultural promoter, I treasure that we were able to recognize and bring the growth and hard work of our community to the airwaves.
Everyone Can Be a Leader
Exploring Nontraditional Community Leadership
Popular understandings of leadership tell us that leaders look a certain way: they are in charge. They possess outward strength. Is there an alternative type of leadership? When are we leaders in our communities? This is the focus of this conversation. To learn more or host a conversation project event, visit the Oregon Humanities site

Speaker
I had the pleasure to be the Announcer and introduce the Blazers team at the Moda Center, for the Latino Network Night.

Mixed-Media Artist

Pepe’s photo-collages are constellations of uncommon moments that uncover his inner world and imagination. These constellations disclose his personal stories, dramas, and dreams that tap into the collective imagination. His work welcomes the viewer to see themselves in every character and frame, cultivating personal contact with the intimate self.

I love to work and produce multidisciplinary projects to advance equity and inclusion and to reframe culture in our community. We bring diverse groups together with events that fuse discussion, media, art, gastronomy, and community to create connections and transformative experiences.

My projects and events have been grounded in the experiences of multicultural people living in the Pacific Northwest, but the issues that these events have raised are relevant to cultural and communities in all areas of the U.S. Through discourses on art, leadership, subculture, migration, identity, diversity, and stereotype. These projects and events have demonstrated the critical role that the arts can play in advancing social justice, and bringing the invisible to light.
